"Minnesotan Witch" and "Gary the Gecko" Out Now!

Hello lovelies!

It has been a long-ass time. You’re probably wondering where it is I squirreled myself off to and why I dropped off the grid like that.

Well, apparently, trying to start a blog, YouTube channel, and writing career while at the same time trying to hold down a full-time PCA job immediately after graduating college and moving into your first apartment...that was a bit more than I could chew. So I took a little break from blogging and vlogging to focus on my stories, as well as to try to figure out how to adult. (Still haven’t quite gotten the hang of that, but I’m getting there.)

So, what have I been up to? A lot. Sovadron comes out in November, and is currently in illustrator John Hawkin’s hands. I’ve been plowing through the Throne of Glass series (a review of which will be coming out soon, along with book seven--yay!), and, subject to this week’s blog post, I’ve been self-publishing!

Right now I have two small books available on Amazon. My collection of shorts Gary the Gecko’s Guide to Getting Your Humans to Get Together (and Other Short Stories) , and the urban fantasy novella The Minnesotan Witch .

The Minnesotan Witch

"Join the DFMC, they said. It'll be fun, they said. They left out the part where I get impaled by unicorns, shot by wannabe witches, and buried under twenty feet of snow."

Nate Johnson is the rookie agent at the Department of Fae and Magical Creatures (DFMC), an underground agency dedicated to keeping the Fae world and the mortal world separate.

After almost getting killed and eaten alive by a unicorn ("I didn't realize that I technically counted as a virgin, okay?!"), Nate and his legendary partner Agent Arnold Grant are sent to Minnesota. Half a dozen people have gone missing, and the suspect is the mysterious, reclusive Black Witch. But not all as is it appears, and by the time Nate manages to dig himself out of the Minnesota snow, everything he thought he knew about the two worlds will be turned upside-down.

Join Nate on his adventure with "The Minnesotan Witch!"

Gary the Gecko

A lesbian angel hunts demons during the apocalypse. Disney lied about what mermaids actually look like and how well they (don't) sing. An ambitious gecko plays matchmaker.

"Gary the Gecko's Guide to Getting Your Humans to Get Together, and Other Short Stories" is a collection of Christina "DZA" Marie's funniest, most heart-warming, and best short stories and flash fics. Enjoy crazy tales of heartwarming ghosts, rick-rolling goblins, and summer camp witches.
